The group behind the platform.

This page gathers what surrounds Wecan Copilot rather than what it does: our parent group, our research programmes, and the WECAN token.

Group

Wecan Group SA is a subsidiary of SEALSQ Corp (Nasdaq: LAES), a Swiss group and a pioneer in post-quantum security. What the group is building together is a decentralised digital identity: credentials verified once and then shared between institutions, so that a client does not have to go through the same KYC again at every door. The group also runs a sovereign offering with WISeSat, whose satellite constellation issues quantum-resistant identities to connected devices from orbit. Within that whole, Wecan is the compliance layer — for individuals, for companies, and for objects. For a regulated client, the practical consequence is a vendor with a listed parent subject to its own disclosure regime, and a hardware-security lineage relevant to audit trails meant to last decades.

Decentralised identity

Each client keeps control of their verified identity — portable across institutions, shareable on consent. No central registry, no single authority deciding who you are. This is a property of the platform and of the group's identity work, not of the token: sharing a credential costs the client nothing and involves no digital asset.

WECAN token

The WECAN token belongs to the ecosystem, not to the compliance platform. Clients of Wecan Copilot license the platform in Swiss francs, like any enterprise software: the token appears nowhere in their contract, their invoice or their balance sheet. Where the platform anchors a compliance record on-chain, Wecan acquires and consumes the token itself, as an operating cost of running that infrastructure. No client needs, holds, buys or is exposed to the token, and no client's activity creates any claim on it. We keep the two separate deliberately — a regulated institution evaluating a compliance vendor should not have to disentangle a digital asset from a supervisory question.
